GENERAL

The NCS type Pumps are basically Non Clog Slurry handling Centrifugal Pumps designed & engineered to provide heavy & sturdy construction to meet rugged Pumping requirements.

The NCS Pumps are in Back Pull-out construction, Horizontal, Foot Mounted, Single stage, End suction and Top Centerline Discharge, with Semi Open Non Clog impeller permitting Pumping slurries containing solids maximum up to 35mm size.

The selection of material of construction over a wide range permits Pumps to operate under adverse critical conditions encountered due to handling of abrasive slurries containing debris.

The Pumps are so designed as to secure the shaft against coming in contact with Pump liquid and thereby permitting the selection of shaft material free from the corrosive/abrasive nature of Pump liquid.

The flow passages are generously sized i.e. the hydraulic passage of both impeller & volute are freely accessible by hand for cleaning / flushing of Pump when not in operation.

Non-Clog Slurry Pumps Applications:

INDUSTRIES SERVICES
PAPER & PULP INDUSTRY PAPER & PULP SLURRY
STARCH PLANTS MAIZE SLURRY
CHEMICALS, DYES & INTERMEDIATES DYES & INTERMEDIATES
OIL EXTRACTION AND WASTE OIL REFINERIES WATER TREATMENT & DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM
BULK DRUGS & PHARMACEUTICALS
EFFLUENT TREATMENT PLANTS

Construction Options for Non-Clog Slurry Pumps:

  1. Offered with Semi Open / S-CHANNEL impeller.
  2. Casing provided with inspection cover for cleaning / flushing.
  3. Impellers are provided with Back Vane to minimize Axial Thrust and Gland Leakage.
  4. Impeller is mounted on floating rotor assembly i.e. bearing housing is provided with cartridge arrangement permitting adjustment of axial clearance between impeller and casing / wear plate. This feature enables to maintain the steady pump performance over a long period without opening the pump during its course of operation and thereby reducing the down time to fantastically low level i.e. hardly 10 – 15 minutes instead of several hours.
  5. Flange Rating PN 16/ BS / ASA Standards.
  6. Various Shaft Sealing Available are,

a.Gland Packing ( ASB. / NON ASB. depending on the service.)

b.Mechanical Seals (Single or Double Mechanical Seal Arrangements.).
